When you open explorer but it opens as microsoft edge

Today, I would like to share the solution for the situation when you open explorer but it opens as microsoft edge. The reason im writing this post is because I was helping my teacher from this problem and I thought people should know how to solve this problem. Lets go right into the solution.

 

First, open microsoft edge. Then click the part where it has the three dots.

설정 means settings here (my pc is set as Korean)

Then go to the part where it says basic browser. Then you will find a thing that says Default browser.

Click on that thing then you will get to this screen on top. Then click the 'Incompatible sites only (Recommendation)'. Then click on it and change it to never. If it is set to always, it will make you open the microsoft edge when you try to open the explorer.

 

This is how you solve the problem when you are trying to open explorer but it opens microsoft edge. To be honest I recommend not using explorer. Even microsoft recommends not using it.
